Jielian Restaurant & Party Centre operates jielian.restaurant. This notice explains how information submitted through this website is used. For privacy questions, email jielianrestaurant@gmail.com.

Information we receive

A food order asks for your name, mobile number, selected branch, delivery or pickup choice, items, quantities and order notes. A delivery order also needs your address or location details; a pickup order asks for your requested collection date and time. The order record includes the displayed total, planning time estimate and status. A separate booking request asks for your name, phone number, selected branch, proposed date, guest count, and any package or message you choose to add. If you contact us by email or phone, we receive the information you give us. The website and hosting service may record technical information such as IP address, browser details, page requests, and security logs.

The cart remembers selected items in your browser. After a successful order, the browser briefly stores only the order reference, total, branch, delivery or pickup choice and any requested pickup date and time to show your confirmation (up to 24 hours in its display logic). When you submit a cash order, it creates a restaurant order record; a notification with order details is also emailed to the restaurant. This checkout does not collect online payment or card or wallet details. Do not put sensitive payment details in an order note or booking message.

How we use and share it

We use food order details to review availability, contact you, confirm or decline the order, prepare it, and arrange delivery or pickup. We use booking details to respond, check availability, and arrange a booking if you agree with the branch. Food orders and booking requests are stored as private WordPress records and emailed to the restaurant. Authorized restaurant staff and the hosting and email services needed to operate the site may access relevant information. We do not use order or booking details for marketing without asking separately.

The Contact page includes lazy-loaded Google Maps embeds. When your browser loads a map, Google receives a request and may receive your IP address, browser details and referring page; it may also use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Read the Google Privacy Policy. Site images may also be served through the website’s hosting services.

Storage, choices and contact

Order and booking records remain in WordPress until authorized staff remove them; email copies and server logs may have different retention settings. We keep access limited to people who need it for the order, request or site operation and review retention as required by applicable law. Email us to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern. We will review the request and any legal obligations before acting. You may also raise a complaint with the competent authority under applicable law.

Browser storage and cookies are explained in our Cookie Policy. Clearing your browser cart does not erase an order already submitted to the restaurant.
